Automa, established in 1972

The history of Automa, our own history, started with Vittorio Gentili who was a Bologna-based businessman and owner of Panigal, a leading Italian industrial group in the cosmetic, personal care, detergents and food sector.

The most famous brand names were Sole, Panigal and Santa Rosa. Automa gradually began to grow, adding to its range of machines and significantly increasing its international presence.

Luca and Automa of the new millennium

From 1988 Automa had been managed by Luca Canossi (Vittorio Gentili's nephew). His premature passing in 2008 left a deep void in all of us, but his vision and accomplishments in the shaping of the company remain with us.

Company philosophy

In a global world in which all companies are brought to be identical to each other, we in Automa are trying to maintain our own personality.

In this way we share a passion and do our job thinking that the relationships with the customers are a mutual exchange of ideas and opinions.

The best ideas come from the dialogue with customers and the enthusiasm that we put in all phases of our work.
